The current economic situation in Romania is challenging for anyone not to say a family raising children with special needs. These families have already depleted all of their resources, and they need help by all means.
For the families that do not have the possibility to bring their child to participate in the therapy we provide transport to the centre and back home. As a part of our support we provide basic necesities such as food, clothes and devices. Counselling is a form of assistance as well. Our specialists make an overview of the current situation of the family and the child and we try to advise on the daily issues to alleviate them. These may be addressing problems such as how to make the house accessible, treat a wound, obtain some rights or jut lead a quality life. We are involved also in integration and reintegration processes and we do follow-up for years.
