The Orbán Foundation is a regional organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for children with multiple disabilities in need or abandoned by their parents.
Children with special needs, if they are given the time and by using special methods, often have the ability to learn. One of our core mandates is to give the most chances to our children and help them use their aptitudes at all times.

Legally, we collaborate with a school and a kindergarten nearby and we have regular school education for grades I – IV. The children study at us and get certificate of completion of the school. Learning is a top priority after the basic needs have been covered. Each of them does learn and participate in some sort of educational program by following regular daily teaching plans within our facilities. We use methods and programs, which have proven their effectiveness over the course of the years. Many children have learnt to read and write, as well as aquired basic mathematics. Seeing a child reading and writing even after six years of learning brings us an incomparable joy.

To our day-care centre, children come to take part in education and therapies, spend time with peers, have fun and live a life of a child. We have them split into groups of five-eight children. Each group has two or three teachers and one special educator. These groups follow educational plans specially tailored for them and form small communities within the big one. They are then taken out from the groups to participate in individual therapies. Part of the day-care is drama group, popular dance and horse riding on a weekly basis.
