The Orbán Foundation is a regional organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for children with multiple disabilities in need or abandoned by their parents.
Sometimes an apparently minor issue like a flatfoot or spinal deformity can cause serious problems in adulthood. These can be very often fully recovered in childhood by applying diligent physiotherapy, thus preventing the problems to worsen further.

Spinal conditions such as scoliosis (curvature of the spine), kyphosis (excessive outward curvature of the spine), spondylolysis (stress fracture of the spine) and spondylolisthesis (movement of a part of the spine over another one) may affect children's development during their early or late childhood years. The majority of spinal problems respond to physiotherapy very well, however, regular check-ups are needed to ensure that the situation does not worsen.

A common and usually painless condition, flat feet can occur when the arches don't develop during childhood. Flat feet can contribute to having problems with the ankles and knees because the condition can alter the alignment of the legs.

We run a group for children with flat feet and one for kids with spinal problems.
